You know the old saying? Well, it has proven true. The people we love are not perfect. We know that, yet we love them anyway. We accept them with all their crazy quirks and flaws, because after all, that's what makes them who they are. We know them, yet we love them anyway. I am struggling, because I have been disappointed by one of these very people. Don't get me wrong, I'm no pansy...no stranger to disappointment here and there. It's part of the ebb and flow of the everyday. What makes this time different? It's that this particular time, I have been disappointed by someone that has truly never disappointed me before. Oh, I will most certainly get over it, as I am not one to hold a grudge. But, in the mean time, I don't like this feeling. You know the one I mean, that icky feeling you get when the thought creeps in your mind? Enough of the Debbie Downer bit, that just ain't me! I still count my blessings everyday, and they are MANY!
